FastPark+ Bag Drop terms and conditions

Please ensure that you have read and understood these terms and conditions before booking or using the FastPark+ Bag Drop service.

These FastPark+ Bag Drop terms and conditions apply in addition to Edinburgh Airport’s Car Parking Terms and Conditions (available here (Opens in a new tab)).

What is the FastPark+ Bag Drop service?

Edinburgh Airport FastPark+ Bag Drop is a service that allows FastPark customers travelling with Jet2 to check in their baggage at the FastPark+ Bag Drop kiosk instead of checking in baggage in the main terminal check in hall. Who can use the FastPark+ Bag Drop service? The FastPark+ Bag Drop service is available only for passengers who meet all of the following criteria:

  • Have a valid FastPark booking for the same date and entry time they wish to use the FastPark+ Bag Drop service. FastPark+ Bag Drop cannot be purchased independently and is not available with any other car parking product.

  • Are flying on a Jet2 operated flight only. At present, the FastPark+ Bag Drop service is not available for any other airline.

  • Do not require any residency or VISA checks at check in. Passengers who require visa checks or document verification must attend a Jet2 check‑in desk in the main terminal and are not eligible to use the FastPark+ Bag Drop service.

How can I use FastPark+ Bag Drop and how much does it cost?

Eligible passengers can book FastPark+ Bag Drop online in advance or, subject to availability, on the day at the airport.

Where you have booked in advance, you must bring confirmation of your booking (including your unique booking reference) to access the FastPark+ Bag Drop service. Prices and more information on using the FastPark+ Bag Drop can be found on our website. (Opens in a new tab)

How do I pay?

The same payment methods available for FastPark bookings apply to FastPark+ Bag Drop. Payment may be made through our website with major credit or debit cards, including American Express. In cooperation with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden, we also offer the following payment options. Payment is to be made to Klarna:

  • Pay Later (30 days)

  • Pay in 3 instalments

  • Pay Now

Can I cancel or amend my booking?

You can amend your FastPark+ Bag Drop booking online up to 24 hours before your booked FastPark entry time. To cancel or amend your booking using our website, please click on the Manage my booking section (Opens in a new tab). You can also contact us on +44 (0)131 357 6337. Calls cost 7ppm plus your phone company’s service charge. Alternatively, you can cancel or amend a booking by completing our online contact form (Opens in a new tab).

What rules apply to FastPark+ Bag Drop?

  • FastPark+ Bag Drop bookings are non-transferable and valid only for the date and time specified on your booking confirmation.

  • If you do not use the FastPark+ Bag Drop service for the period booked, your booking will expire and no refund will be due.

  • We aim to operate the FastPark+ Bag Drop service from approximately 3.5 hours until 1.5 hours before the scheduled departure time of the relevant Jet2 flight, subject to operational and security requirements.

  • If you, or any member of your travelling party, does not meet the eligibility criteria set out the ‘Who can use the FastPark+ Bag Drop?’ section above, your FastPark+ Bag Drop booking will not be valid and no refund will be due.

  • For operational reasons we cannot guarantee the availability of the FastPark+ Bag Drop service on any given day, or the time taken to use the service.

  • Where the FastPark+ Bag Drop service is unavailable or not delivered to a reasonable standard for reasons within our control, you will be entitled to a full or partial refund of the FastPark+ Bag Drop fee, depending on the circumstances. No refund will be due where the service is not used due to passenger ineligibility, late arrival, or failure to meet these terms.

  • Use of the FastPark+ Bag Drop does not remove or reduce your obligation to comply with all security procedures. It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate time to clear security and reach your departure gate.

What is the interaction with Jet2?

The FastPark+ Bag Drop service is operated by Edinburgh Airport in partnership with Jet2. Jet2 is solely responsible for the check-in and acceptance of baggage at the FastPark+ Bag Drop kiosk. Jet2’s applicable terms and conditions (Opens in a new tab) apply. Any issues relating to baggage loss, delay or damage must be raised with Jet2 in the first instance.

Operational disruption?

We shall not be responsible or liable for any failure or delay in providing the FastPark+ Bag Drop service where this results from events beyond our reasonable control, including (without limitation) adverse weather, security incidents, system failures, industrial action, or instructions from emergency services or competent authorities.

What if I have a complaint?

If you experience a problem with your FastPark+ Bag Drop booking or service, please speak with a member of Edinburgh Airport’s security hall staff who will try to resolve the issue at the time.
