This Free Prize Draw is being run by Edinburgh Airport on behalf of Virgin Atlantic and Turkish Airlines Lounge by Plaza Premium Group. The name and email address and post code of the winner will be passed to Virgin Atlantic and Turkish Airlines Lounge by Plaza Premium Group. No other personal details will be passed to Virgin Atlantic and Turkish Airlines Lounge by Plaza Premium Group. Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the Edinburgh Airport Privacy Policy. The competition will run from 10:00 on  07/09/2026 until  23:58 on 13/09/2026.

How to participate

Participants must be 18 years of age or over. The Promoter may require proof of age from winners.

Entrants must be UK residents.

Entry to the Free Prize Draw is free and no purchase is necessary. The Promoter shall not charge any Participant for entering or attempting to enter the Free Prize Draw.

If entering the Free Prize Draw via the relevant Edinburgh Airport Instagram post, participants must follow Edinburgh Airport (@edinburghairport) on Instagram, tag a friend in a comment on the post, and re-share the post to their story.

Any non-compliance with or breach of these Terms and Conditions by a Participant or any dishonest, misrepresentative or fraudulent conduct will void an entry.

A maximum of one entry per Participant is permitted on each channel (Instagram and webpage).

The Free Prize Draw is not open to any employee, contractors, or suppliers of Edinburgh Airport Limited that are directly connected with the creation and administration of this promotion. Multiple entries through the same channel will be disqualified and only the first valid entry will be accepted.

Start Date

The Free Prize Draw will be open from 10:00 on  07 September 2026  and entries received on or after this date will be valid.

Closing Date

The closing date for the Free Prize Draw will be  23:58 on 13 September 2026. Any entries received after this date will not be valid.

Selection and notification of the Winner

The winner of the Free Prize Draw will be randomly selected from all entries submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

The winner will be notified by direct message on Instagram or using the contact details provided by the participant on the webpage within seven (7) days of closing. If the prize is unclaimed by the initial winners drawn within twenty-one days (21) days, Edinburgh Airport reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

The Promoter’s decision on the Winner is final and no correspondence will be entered into by the Promoter with the unsuccessful Participants.

The first name and area of residence of the Winner may be obtained by sending a request to [email protected] within 30 days of the closing date. If the winner objects to such information being made available, or requests that the amount of information made available be reduced, Edinburgh Airport will only disclose the information where required to comply with applicable law or regulatory requirements.

Prize

There will be one (1) prize winner. The prize consists of:

Two return economy class flights to and from Edinburgh Airport to Orlando International Airport (MCO) with Virgin Atlantic and two lounge passes to the Turkish Airlines Lounge by Plaza Premium Group at Edinburgh Airport.

The prize is not transferable, not exchangeable, and no cash alternative is available. The prize must be accepted as stated, and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to accept the prize as stated.

Personal data

Any personal data provided by a Participant will remain confidential to the Promoter and will not be disclosed to any third party except for the purposes of administering the Free Prize draw.

The Promoter reserves the right to use the information for the purposes of administering and facilitating the Free Prize Draw including but not limited to publishing or making available the first name and area of residence of the Winner, as well as providing the Winner’s details to third parties for the purposes of administering the Free Prize Draw including the actual providers of the Prize. Entrants may object to the publication or making available of such information, or request that the amount of information disclosed be reduced.

All personal data provided by a Participant will be used by the Promotor solely for the purposes of administering the Free Prize Draw or as otherwise set out/referred to in these Terms and conditions. Personal data from unsuccessful participants will not be retained. Personal data from the successful participant will only be retained for as long as necessary for the administration of the Free Prize Draw and compliance with legal obligations.

Liability

Edinburgh Airport Limited reserve the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the prize draw (including altering prizes at an equal value) if, in Edinburgh Airport's sole discretion, the Free Prize Draw is not capable of being conducted as specified.

The Promoter does not accept responsibility for Participant entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged, or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including but not limited to, as a result of an equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promotor, its agents, employees, or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner or accept any liability for any loss or damage that may be lawfully excluded which occurs as a result of taking up the Prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promotor, its agents, employees or distributors. The Winner’s statutory rights are not affected.

General

The Participant is deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions upon entry in the Free Prize Draw.

The Promoter reserves the right to refuse participation, or refuse to award the Prize, to anyone that is non-compliant or in breach of these Terms and Conditions and its decision shall be absolute and final.

If at any time any part of these Terms and Conditions is held to be or becomes void or otherwise unenforceable for any reason under any applicable law, the same shall be deemed omitted from these Terms and Conditions and the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall not in any way be affected or impaired as a result of that omission.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Scotland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.

Virgin Atlantic Terms & Conditions

Promoter: Edinburgh Airport Limited Prize Draw Period: The draw opens at 10:00 on 07.09.2026 and closes at 23:58 on 13.09.2026 Prize Description: The prize consists of two (2) Virgin Atlantic Economy return flights from Edinburgh Airport to Orlando International Airport (MCO), Florida (inclusive of applicable taxes and surcharges). The winner must redeem the prize, and travel within 12 months of claiming the prize. The winner may nominate one companion for the prize. No additional tickets may be added to, or redeemed as part of, the prize. Flights are subject to availability and Virgin Atlantic peak travel restrictions. Blackout dates may apply. No changes permitted to reservations once date of travel is confirmed and tickets have been issued. Travel does not qualify for Flying Club points accumulation or for mileage/points accumulation in any other frequent flyer program. Entrant criteria: All entrants must be UK residents over the age of 18. Entry mechanic: The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to provide the winner with details of the Prize at the earliest possible opportunity. Virgin Atlantic will have final discretion on all elements relating to the booking and operation of the flights forming part of the prize. Once the prize details including dates are confirmed, these cannot be amended or altered by the winner. Prize Conditions: The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize or seek recovery of its value if the prize has been awarded to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

An entry must be made directly by the individual entering the Promotion. Bulk entries from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means together with entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms & Conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that an entrant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that entrant’s entries into the Promotion in a way that is not consistent with the rules of the Promotion, that entrant’s entries will be disqualified and any prize awarded will be void. Entrants are not permitted to enter using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.

Virgin Atlantic reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose.

The Promoter does not guarantee continuous access to the promotion website or entry page. If for any reason a technical interruption, fault or site failure occurs when entering online, the Promoter does not take any responsibility for any incomplete entries and will not be considered valid for entry into the prize draw.

The Promoter must be informed of any special access requests (wheelchair access or any similar access needs) which are necessary for the enjoyment of the prize.

The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.

The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.

A prize-winner letter will be issued, along with further instructions on how to complete the booking. Please allow up to five (5) working days for a response. Flights cannot be booked without the prize-winner letter.

Travel regulations: You will be responsible for ensuring that (at the time of travel) you hold a valid passport (that will remain valid for at least 6 months after arrival at destination), any necessary visas, other required documentation to comply with applicable immigration or other travel regulations for the flight in question on the travel dates specified.

The winner and companion are responsible for complying with all applicable entry requirements for the United States of America, including visa and health requirements.

Prize exclusions: Unless otherwise stated in the relevant prize-specific terms, the prize does not include travel insurance, the cost of transfers to and from airports or stations, food and drink, spending money, tax or personal expenses. Any costs incurred in addition to the prize package elements shall be incurred at the winner’s expense including but not limited to food, drinks, transport, telephone charges, room service, laundry service, optional excursions, tips, service charges, taxes, souvenirs, merchandise, and any other incidental expenses.

The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to exclude the winner from participation: This applies in any aspect of the prize if any party fails to comply with the directions of the Promoter, any companies associated with the prize, if any party acts in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public or is, in the opinion of the Promoter, anti-social in any manner or which causes a disturbance or nuisance to others. The Promoter is responsible for the administration of the promotion. Virgin Atlantic is not responsible for the administration or conduct of the prize draw. Virgin Atlantic is not responsible for failure to meet any of its obligations under the Terms where such failure is due to events beyond its reasonable control. Virgin Atlantic will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

In the event of a conflict between these terms and conditions and any specific terms and conditions set out in any promotional material, promotion or prize draw, the details in such specific terms and conditions will prevail.

By entering the prize draw, each eligible entrant further covenants and agrees to keep harmless and to release from liability Virgin Atlantic, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, subcontractors and affiliates with respect to any claims or actions, losses, fines or legal costs which arise, directly or indirectly in connection with the prize draw and the administration thereof, the prize and any related activity.

Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. Personal data will be used for the purposes of administering the promotion and fulfilling the prize. Personal data of the winner and companion may be shared with Virgin Atlantic solely for the purposes of booking and operating the prize flights.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
