Tempted by Toronto, Halifax, Calgary or Montréal? Plan your trip to Canada

It's no surprise that for many people Canada is top of the travel wish list. Whether it's vibrant cities or awesome landscapes, few do it better than this place.
You can fly direct to Toronto, Halifax and Montréal and experience the best of everything in the east of the country - from Niagara Falls to the CN Tower and Distillery District - or you can go west to Calgary for the Canadian Rockies, The Stampede and Lake Louise.
Already heading out, or planning a trip for next year? Here's our round-up and you can make your mind up for yourself.

🏙️ The view from the CN Tower. Hop in the famous glass elevator (no, not the one from the book) and take a ride to the top of the city's star attraction for the best view of the city. And if you have enough courage then you can try the Edge Walk, the world’s highest full circle hands-free walk - just 116 storeys and a safety harness between you and the streets of Toronto.
🌊 Niagara Falls. So far as day trips go they don't come much bigger and better than this. Head to Niagara Falls and see this natural wonder in full-flow - just remember to take a poncho!
🏒 Ice Hockey. Get your skates on and head down to the Scotiabank Arena - home to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Ice hockey is the sport of choice in these parts, and the Maple Leafs are their team. Good puck finding a more authentic Canadian sports experience.
⛱️ Brilliant beaches. Lake Ontario is one of the largest of its kind in the world, and it's home to some fantastic beaches - perfect if you're after a spot of relaxation. Woodbine Beach, also known as The Beaches, is well worth a visit.
