We operate both paid and free Pickup & Dropoff areas at Edinburgh Airport.
As an airport we want to offer passengers as much choice as possible and you can find out more about each zone, and where they are located on the airport campus, below.
Please note, a temporary pick-up zone will be in operation from the Terminal car park from January 19 as we work to redevelop the paid Pickup & Dropoff zone.
Paid Dropoff & Pickup
Ideal if you're looking for a quick and easy drop-off or pick-up. Drop-off is on the ground floor of the multi-storey and pick-up is temporarily from the Terminal car park. Priced at £4 for stays of 0 to 10 minutes.
Free Dropoff & Pickup
We have a free Dropoff & Pickup zone in the long-stay car park, around a 10-minute walk from the main terminal buildings. Drivers can stop here for a duration of 30-minutes without being charged a fee. Please note there is no shuttle bus in operation.
Pickup & Dropoff project
We're embarking on a £1.6million project to redevelop our paid Pickup & Dropoff zone on the ground floor of the multi-storey car park.
The area will be completely redesigned in the coming months, creating a more modern, user-friendly experience for users in time for the busy summer 2023 period.
