There are various ways we work with the communities closest to us.

Through the Trusted Neighbour pillar of our Greater Good sustainability strategy we strive to share the benefits of the airport with our neighbours, minimise the impact felt by our operations, and engage with local groups and people to understand their priorities.

We will also be consulting with communities on issues such as noise and airspace in the coming months, with further information on this to be available in due course. We'll share updates on this page when we are ready to do so.

Edinburgh Airport Consultative Committee

The Edinburgh Airport Consultative Committee (EACC) was established by the airport to facilitate consultation with a broad cohort of stakeholders.

This committee can consult on on any matter of interest concerning Edinburgh Airport’s management and operation and is independent of EAL.

The group is representative of a wide range of interests, including up to 25 appointed members from local authorities, civil aviation bodies, passenger groups, businesses and community groups.

It has the ability to provide fundamental advice and suggestions which help shape the decisions which define our airport.
