Historically known as the city of light – these days Paris embodies rediscovery, love, and hope more than ever. The French capital is bursting with life and landmarks, incredible art, stylish shopping and gastronomic delights.

For art-lovers you've got so much to choose from. The Louvre (the planet's largest and most visited art museum) is a must-see, and the Musee d'Orsay, which houses the largest collection of Impressionist and Post-impressionist masterpieces in the world, can be found on the banks of the Seine.

There's plenty more to marvel at too - from historic sites such as Notre Dame and the Arc de Triomphe to the Palace of Versailles. And with so many things to do and sights to see (Paris really is a treat for the eyes) what better way to rest the legs than kicking back with a coffee and a sweet treat in one of those charming Parisian cafes the city is so famous for.

Also, before we forget. Be sure to get an Eiffel of this city from one of the world’s most iconic structures.
