Paphos

Paphos

All paths lead to Paphos - a gorgeous city on the Cypriot coast packed with beautiful beaches, historical sites and lively nightspots.

Once belonging to the ancient gods and goddesses of Greece, Old Paphos, or Palaepaphos, is preserved as a Unesco World Heritage Site. It is home to world famous museums and art galleries along with the remains of ancient theatres, villas and tombs, and it's really no surprise visitors flock here in their numbers to soak up the history.

Among the highlights are the stunning Aphrodite's Rock, Paphos Archaelogical Park, one of the country's most important archaeological sites, and the Akamas Peninsula National Park which contains a lagoon, natural spring pools, nature trails and a stunning beach.

Add to that countless fantastic cafes and restaurants serving up the finest local cuisine, Paphos is a real treat.
