Alternatively, use Spectrum Interactive's internet terminals and computers, which are available 24 hours a day and situated before and after security.

Bag a duty free bargainFine fragrances, beauty bargains, designer sunglasses, champagne and single malts ... the World Duty Free stores at Edinburgh Airport have thousands of premium brands to choose from, all at fantastic prices. Too much to carry? If you're coming back, pick up your shopping when you return.
4. Eat, drink and relaxStop for a drink, a snack or a sit-down meal – whatever your taste, you'll find your favourite flavours at Edinburgh Airport. Enjoy a Scottish farmhouse breakfast, a caffeine top-up, fine patisserie or a seafood feast ... we've a world of choice to suit every traveller.

5. Find the perfect souvenirTake a little piece of Scotland on your travels. Choose from a range of fine Scottish-inspired foods, accessories, jewellery and more at Liquorice Tree; find haggis, hats, soft toys and everything tartan at the tourist information centre (international arrivals); or select a bottle of fine whisky at World Duty Free – perfect for a last-minute gift (or a treat for yourself).
6. Check out a supercarAdmire an Aston or fall for a Ferrari – you'll find the world's most desirable marques at Best of the Best, the car competition organiser. There's always a dream car on display at the stand (near Gate 9) and more to be won.
7. Go on a shopping spreeFine fragrances, fashion accessories, the very latest electronic gadgets ... you'll find some of the high street's best-known names here, and all at airport shopping prices. 8. Watch the planesWith flights to everywhere from Malaga to Moscow, there's always plenty going on on the airfield at Edinburgh. The departure lounge's big windows mean you'll find great views of the runways, taxiways and stands from almost anywhere. For the best experience, though, settle down with a drink or a bite to eat and watch the action from Wetherspoons, Costa Coffee (Gate 12) or WHSmith Café, all after security control.
9. Have a massageStretch, unwind and start your journey as you mean to go on. OMH Therapies (after security control, between Gates 7 and 8) offers a holistic massage treatment service with no appointment needed. Therapies range from a ten-minute quick fix to a 20-30 minute massage and include aromatherapy, Indian head massage and reiki healing. Carved wooden screens make for a perfect peaceful atmosphere where travel worries melt away.
Alternatively, for a completely different kind of experience try out the Instant Massage chairs in the departure lounge (after security). They're great fun and it only costs £1 for three minutes of kneading, rolling and tapping in true shiatsu style.
10. Take in an exhibitionThe Airport Gallery is an exhibition of original Scottish artwork brought together for the traveller's enjoyment. It changes regularly so even frequent flyers will always find something new to enjoy. The main exhibition can be found in the departure lounge (after security), near Gate 12.
