Edinburgh Airport serves Scotland's capital city, a vibrant business and leisure destination, famous for its annual festival and proud of its status as a world heritage site. It currently serves 9 million passengers a year, and is a transatlantic gateway, with flights to Newark, New York and Toronto. It’s owned by BAA, which also owns Heathrow, Stansted, Southampton, Glasgow and Aberdeen airports.
