More change at Edinburgh Airport

Please bear with us as we continue to transform our airport. Over the next five years BAA plans to invest more than £100 million to improve the terminal and airfield facilities at Edinburgh Airport; these are just some of the many projects on the go, which you may see as you travel through the airport today.

1. Reconfiguring the check-in hall.
2. Refurbishing the immigration hall
3. New departure lounge extension and security hall.
4. Rehabilitation of the Echo Taxiway leading to the main apron.
5. Construction of two new aircraft stands on the south-east ramp.
6. A new trial in security to improve passenger flow at the X-ray machines.
7. Tramway works – a bridge is being built and a road moved to accommodate the arrival of trams for 2011.
