Rivalling Split for its beauty, closeby are the magnificent Dalmatian Islands, perfect for a day trip or to do a spot of island hopping. Back within Split, a climb up the Marjan Hill is well worth the effort for the phenomenal views over the city and out across the Adriatic coast.
