For those looking for a more lively nightlife then the resort of Ayia Napa continues to grow into one of Europe’s top 18-30 destinations attracting renowned DJs and boasting fantastic clubs and bars which will keep you partying until dawn. Furthermore the neighbouring Nissi Beach offers a quieter vibe, a world class beach and superb water sports facilities so it's a perfect day trip or alternative destination.

Or stay within Larnaca itself and be treated to a scenic and culturally rich city. Make sure you visit the old Turkish quarter of Skala; full of Cypriot arts and crafts workshops, the gorgeous Byzantine church of Saint Lazarus and Larnaka’s little fort. As well as its rich history Larnaca is famous for its coastal promenade filled with some of the best restaurants, taverns and bars in Cyprus, where you can find every type of cuisine available. During the day you can relax on more than 15 miles of long sandy beaches spreading around the Larnaca Bay or take a dip in the beautiful Mediterranean Sea.

Last but not least, make sure to visit the second largest lake on the island, Salt Lake, which is an amazing natural side and home to around 12,000 pink flamingos. During the summer the water evaporates leaving a vast and stunning spread of salt crust.
