Summer schedule from April to October. Winter schedule from November to March.

First and foremost, you haven’t been to Kefalonia if you haven't visited Myrtos Beach. It’s the most photographed shoreline of the Ionian Islands, mainly thanks to its steep limestone cliffs that dramatically drop to the turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea. What’s more the beauty of the island does not end with the beaches, and to experience Kefalonia’s natural wonders, head into the shady depths of the Melisanni Cave, Cave of the Nymphs in Greek mythology. You’ll be taken on a magnificent boat ride over the glittery waters of the lake while the sun streams in from the hole in the cave above.

There are numerous fantastic villages scattered across the island, so you will not be stuck for choice when it comes to finding somewhere perfect to stay. Skala is the largest resort in the South of the Island and alongside its unspoilt landscapes, hidden coves and tourist facilities, it's an ideal choice for families. Or, head to the northern part of the island where you’ll find rich, rugged mountains and gorgeous villages of Assos and Fiskardo. It’s here where you will experience true Greek hospitality.

You may choose to simply spend the whole trip relaxing, however if you are the restless sort, there is plenty on the island to keep you occupied. From diving along the coast to hiking across the beautiful countryside to visit the beautiful preserved mosaics within the Roman ruins. Finally, a day trip to the island of Ithaca, famous worldwide as the home of Odysseus, will give you the chance to combine an exciting visit with Greek myth.
