Known for

  • The TT races – The world famous motorcycle race which sees competitors reaching up to 115 miles per hour.
  • The Way of the Gull – The Isle of Man is known for its fantastic scenery and landscapes and this really spectacular hiking trail which stretches 95 miles around the coast is no exception.
  • Railways – With an impressive collection of heritage railways, you can glimpse into times gone by riding on its miniature railway or enjoy phenomenal views from the Snaefell Mountain Railway dating back to the 19th century.

Make good use of the Isle of Man’s phenomenal natural setting whether you choose to hike along its beautiful coastal countryside or spot the variety of wildlife as you try your hand at a spot of sea kayaking. What’s more the island is known for its beaches with the Peel beach on its west coast being named a true highlight due to its incredible sunset.

Renowned for its iconic TT race and superb countryside roads, the Isle of Man attracts motoring enthusiasts from around the world and boasts a fantastic Motor Museum to keep you occupied when not out on the road. Although with such great pubs and a busy events calendar, the Isle of Man is always abuzz with life and laughter no matter what time you visit.
