Scotland gains a brand new route as low-cost Lithuanian airline Star1 Airlines announced two weekly flights from Vilnius to Edinburgh during the summer season.

A multi million pound project to resurface Scotland's busiest airport runway has been completed on budget, and ahead of schedule.

Edinburgh Airport today (Thursday 19th November) unveiled its brand new departure lounge, the first phase of a £40 million redevelopment of the terminal building and the biggest single project in the airport's 32 year history.
