Flying High - Edinburgh Airport supports Community Partnership

06 May 2014

Brodies Champions of Tennis are delighted to announce a partnership with Edinburgh Airport who are going to be supporting the tournament community programme and ball teams during the event.

Viki Mendessohn, Tournament Director said "It is fantastic to have an iconic brand such as Edinburgh Airport involved in the event. They have been extremely helpful in the logistics of players arrivals/departures and for them to become involved in an official capacity this year shows their intent to partner new events to the capital.

"The ball teams this year will see the Edinburgh Airport logo and ‘High Fliers’ on their team kit and we are also working to deliver with them community support at our Festival of Tennis in Inverleith Park."

Gordon Dewar, Chief Executive of Edinburgh Airport, said: “We’re delighted to be sponsoring the Brodies Champions of Tennis tournament and look forward to welcoming some of the most famous tennis players of all time into Edinburgh once again. We‘re passionate about supporting events in and around Edinburgh which allow us to connect with our friends and neighbours around the city.  The Champions of Tennis is a fantastic event which will kick off a momentous summer of sport.

“It’s an exciting time for Scotland with hundreds of thousands of people expected to travel through our airport over the coming months.  We can’t wait to give them the best experience possible.”

Brodies Champions of Tennis are working with Tennis Scotland for the provision of the ball teams for the event.
