New Online System

The ID Centre goes digital!

The ID Centre is rolling out a new online system to replace the existing paper based application process for ID passes.

The system is planned to go live at the beginning of June, and soon after it will no longer be possible to submit paper based applications.

The new system, provided by IDGateway™, will help streamline the application process by guiding sponsors through the entire journey. Other benefits also include a central referencing database and the ability to self-print temporary passes.


How does this affect me?

Sponsors

You will no longer be able to submit paper based applications. All applications will be submitted using the new online system; this will enable you to upload digital copies of all documentation and references.

There will be mandatory training sessions provided in May which will show you how to use the new system.

Security Staff

There is no change to the existing Full ID Passes. However, new barcode scanners will be issued to all security posts to enable the verification of temporary passes and vehicle passes.

There will be training sessions provided for Security Officers throughout May.

Others

Full ID passes will still be issued in the same way. You will notice some changes to the layout and appearance of temporary passes and vehicle passes, such as a barcode to enable security to scan and validate in real-time.

What will I need to get started?

For those who submit application, you will need access to:

  • A PC or Laptop with internet connectivity
  • A scanner or camera to upload documents
  • PDF creation software

You will be able to access the system from anywhere, as long as you have an internet connection. It is compatible with most browsers, but for the best experience we recommend using Internet Explorer 10+ or Google Chrome.
